90 Day Fiancé stars Jibri and Miona do not have viewers convinced that their storyline is real because there’s evidence they already married.
New 90 Day Fiancé stars Jibri and Miona Bell have fans thinking that their story on the show is not authentic, with many viewers calling their segments scripted. Jibri and Miona are among the many new couples introduced on 90 Day Fiancé season 9. Jibri met Miona while Jibri was touring with his band Black Serbs in Miona’s home country of Serbia, and the pair quickly hit it off. Although Jibri was living in the United States at the time, he still proposed to Miona and began the K-1 visa process.
Miona moved in with Jibri and his parents in Rapid City, South Dakota at the start of the season, which caused some difficulties, as she wishes to instead live in a big city. Miona also struggled to form a positive relationship with Jibri’s mother Mahala, who criticizes Miona about things like the way she dresses. Miona does not have better luck getting along with Jibri’s friends, disliking his bandmate and best friend Daveed in particular.

Many 90 Day Fiancé fans on Reddit, have called out Jibri and Miona for seemingly faking their storyline on the show. Reddit user goinpostalmarcus started a thread about Jibri and Miona, captioning a photo of the couple “I’m over these two. They’re so boring.” User DoUjustL00kStupid commented on the post, saying “Especially knowing they are a fake storyline.” Other users in the comments were quick to agree, with many claiming that Jibri and Miona were married before she even came to the United States. During an interview with a Serbian news channel, Jibri called Miona his wife, although he later blamed this on a poor translation from Serbian to English.
Some fans also suspected that Jibri and Miona may have already been married due to her going by Miona Bell on her social media accounts. However, it is possible that they got married in the United States before the show aired, which could be why her last name had already been changed. Nonetheless, fans were still confused, especially with the role Mahala plays in the couple’s storyline. Several users pointed out that Mahala showed constant stress about the two getting married throughout their 90 days, which would make no sense if the two were already married.
In addition to the rumors that the 90 Day Fiancé couple lied about being married, viewers have called out other areas of the couple’s storyline that seems to have been scripted. On one episode, Jibri and Daveed get into a physical fight over Miona, but many viewers did not buy that the scene was actually real. As for Jibri and Miona’s relationship, fans are certain to receive some clarity in the following weeks as 90 Day Fiancé season 9 wraps up.
